If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this contact information to get in touch with you. To properly process your credit card information, we must share your personal and financial information with the merchant bank for authorization and approval. - Your credit card number is NOT retained on Emerald Aires’ server. This information is encrypted and sent only over a secure Internet connection. This is done by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, your Firefox or Microsoft Internet Browser will let you know when the connection is secured. Both of these browsers use a
'lock' icon as a graphic indication of a secured connection. As well, a look at the address bar will show the
"http:" pre-fix has been replaced with the pre-fix of
"https" when accessing a secure server. Emerald Aire, Inc. uses the services of
Authorize.net as the bridge between our website and the financial entities that handle the processing and settlement of credit card transactions.
- Emerald Aire, Inc. employs third party companies to perform some functions for us. These include order fulfillment, package delivery, postal and email delivery and credit processing. These third parties have only limited access to your personal information and will not use it for other purposes.
