During our search to install a new furnace ,we looked at several companies. Our research included checking the reviews by consumers on the internet, BBB reports and licensing at the Department of Labor and Industry. After speaking with Mark, our sales representative, and thorough research, we decided to use Emerald Aire. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about furnaces and the installation process. He also indicated that he could provide an American Standard Furnace. Emerald Aire’s price seemed comparable to most everyone, but they also had good ratings, and all the proper licensing and bonds.
We knew we chose the right company when Tim showed up at our house. He went over what he was going to do and took his time ensuring our concerns were addressed completely to our satisfaction. We plan on calling him back to service our furnace for years to come. He is a great asset to Emerald Aire and we really appreciate his thoroughness.

This is a commendation for your employee Ron, who did a duct-seal at our house for Sustainable Works.
I found Ron to be friendly and helpful beyond his duties. Not only did Ron find a hole in the ducts and seal it with quick a trip to Lowes to pick up material, but he spotted a water leak from the drain system. Then he offered to give me free advice on how to fix it, making sure I understood all the liability would be my own. He helped me pick up the supplies and looked over my shoulder as we worked together under the house.
All together Ron saved me a lot of money and future hassle, as well as completing his assigned work of evaluating and sealing the duct system.
My hat is off to him.

You and your team did a great job. I was impressed not just that you knew your business, but that you came to our house twice to investigate the conditions. It was during our second investigation that you went under the house into the crawl space and discovered the problem with the return plenum and that the prior HVAC contractor had failed to fix that problem, let alone mention it to me. I investigated your fix, and I concluded you were absolutely correct.
Your guys in the field did a great job with their installation. Their craftsmanship was ecellent. They played close attention to detail. Probably what I appreciated the most was that your guys fixed the dryer vent. You and your team went above & beyond the call of duty.
I represent mechanical contractors who compete with you in the commercial arena. I would not have asked them to do this job for me, because they are too far north and there are ethical complications for me to do business with a present client. Also they only do commercial work, making it hard for them to provide a competitive price on residential work. Even though you do commercial work, and you are a union shop with a team of highly skilled workmen, your prices were very competitive. I was happy with your price.

The Tech called me right away. It was the Friday before July 4th and a lot of places were not open or were not responding in a timely fashion. My normal HVAC company did not respond for over 24 hours and it was after the repair was completed by Emerald Aire. Needless to say my old company has been fired. The Tech was good and finished quickly. The tech said it would take two hours to get to me and work on the unit but he showed up an hour sooner.

Great people at Emerald Aire! Our heat had been out for several days. We have an older boiler for our heat and no one seemed to know how to fix it. We got in touch with Emerald Aire one evening and I talked to David over the phone and he said someone could come out the next morning at 8 am. I was shocked; other companies said it would be days! Jeff arrived at 7:50 a.m., was very nice and knew what he was doing. Our furnace was fixed and the cost was reasonable. I will call Emerald Aire again if we should need anything else.
